Book YourFree consultation

A one-to-one consultation with Dr Devesh Shelat, a Specialist Orthodontist – and the person who would actually carry out your treatment. Not a treatment coordinator working from a script.

He will tell you what your teeth need, how long it would take, what it would cost and what the alternatives are – including when the honest answer is that you do not need treatment at all.

Booking takes a £15 deposit. It comes off your consultation fee, and you get it back if you decide not to go ahead. How the deposit works.

WHO
WILL I MEET?

Upon arrival, you’ll receive a warm welcome from our friendly reception team. You’ll then meet directly with Dr Dev, who will personally guide you through your orthodontic journey.

WHAT
WILL HAPPEN NEXT?

If you decide to proceed with treatment, we’ll take any necessary scans, photos, and x-rays (at no additional cost) and create your bespoke treatment plan. Everything will be tailored to your needs so you can begin your transformation with clarity and confidence.

WHEN
CAN I VISIT?

Usually within days rather than weeks. Your free consultation is a video appointment; if you would rather come in and see Dr Dev in person, that is £95. Fill in the form and we will call you to fix a time that suits — or message us on WhatsApp, which is usually the quickest way to reach us.

How the £15 deposit works

A small deposit to hold an appointment is the only thing that keeps the clinic running to time, so it is worth being completely clear about what happens to yours.

  • It comes off your fee. The £15 is credited in full against the £95 in-person consultation fee. It is not an additional charge.
  • Changed your mind? You get it back. If you decide not to go ahead with treatment, we refund the deposit – just ask within two weeks of your appointment date.
  • Need to rearrange? No problem. Tell us and we will move your appointment, carrying the deposit across.
  • The one exception. If you do not attend and do not let us know, the deposit is not refunded. Appointments are limited, and an empty chair is one a patient on the waiting list could have had.

You will be seen by a specialist, not a salesperson

Clear aligners are now sold by a great many general dental practices, and by a fair number of companies with no clinician in the room at all. At most of them, the person who talks you through your options is a treatment coordinator: a sales role, often paid on conversion.

Dr Devesh Shelat is a Specialist Orthodontist. That means a qualified dentist who then completed three further years of full-time university training in tooth movement and facial growth, and who is registered as a specialist with the General Dental Council. He treats nothing else.

Practically, that matters in two ways. He can tell you when a case is not suitable for the treatment you came in asking about – and he can tell you when you would be better off leaving your teeth alone. Neither is a conversation you reliably get from someone whose job is to sell you an appliance.

Your consultation is with him, from the first appointment to the last.
