Invisalign® clear aligner treatment in Cheshire at Dr Dev Orthodontics

Discreet treatment with Invisalign® clear aligners

Invisalign® is a discreet orthodontic treatment that uses a series of clear, custom-made aligners to gradually move your teeth into their ideal position. Designed with comfort and flexibility in mind, aligners can be removed for eating, drinking, and daily oral hygiene - allowing you to maintain your usual routine with minimal disruption.

At Dr Dev Orthodontics, Invisalign® treatment is carefully planned and overseen by a Specialist Orthodontist, ensuring precise, controlled tooth movement and predictable results. Each clear aligner is tailored to your individual treatment plan, using advanced digital technology to map every stage of your progress.

Suitable for a wide range of alignment concerns, Invisalign® offers a more subtle approach to orthodontic treatment for patients across Cheshire and Knutsford who want effective results without the visibility of fixed braces.

Planned digitally, before anything moves

Your treatment is mapped out on screen before a single aligner is made. A digital scan of your teeth – no impression trays – becomes a three-dimensional model that Dr Dev uses to plan each stage of movement himself.

That means you can see the predicted result at your consultation, and it means the plan is designed by the Specialist Orthodontist who will carry it out, rather than being handed to a lab to work out.

What Invisalign® costs in Cheshire

A full dual-arch course of Invisalign® at Dr Dev Orthodontics starts from £4,850. Your exact fee depends on what your treatment involves and is confirmed at your consultation – and once it is agreed in writing, it does not change while you are in the chair.

It includes your full course of aligners, every routine review appointment while you are in treatment, your retainers, and 18 months of follow-up once you finish. Everyone needs a retainer – it is what stops your teeth drifting back – so it is included in the price rather than charged as an extra. A replacement, if you ever need one, is £170.

If your case is mild, you may not need a full Invisalign® course at all. Mild aligner cases start at £2,500, and Angel Aligners are £3,695 for a dual arch. Dr Dev will tell you which bracket you actually fall into rather than defaulting you to the most expensive one.

You can spread any of these over up to 12 months, interest-free, directly with the practice.

Is Invisalign® the right choice for you?

Clear aligners handle a great deal – crowding, spacing, and many bite problems – but they are not the right answer for every case, and they are not the right answer for every person.

Invisalign® tends to suit you if you want something discreet, you would rather be able to take it out to eat, and you will genuinely wear it for 20 to 22 hours a day. That last point is the one that decides most cases: aligners only move teeth while they are in your mouth.

Fixed braces may be the better answer if your case involves significant rotations or movements that aligners control less predictably, or if you would simply rather not have to think about it. Fixed braces work whether or not you remember them.

As a Specialist Orthodontist, Dr Dev is in a position to tell you plainly which is likely to give you the better result – including when the answer is not the one you came in hoping for. That is a different conversation from the one you get where aligners are the only thing on offer.

How treatment works, start to finish

  • Consultation. A free virtual consultation, or an in-person appointment for £95, with Dr Dev himself. You will find out whether Invisalign® suits your case, roughly how long it would take, and what it would cost.
  • Records and planning. If you decide to go ahead, we take digital scans, photographs and x-rays, and Dr Dev plans every stage of the movement before a single aligner is made.
  • Your aligners. You wear each set for the prescribed period, then move on to the next. You take them out to eat, drink anything other than water, and clean your teeth.
  • Reviews. You are seen regularly through treatment so progress can be checked against the plan and adjusted if needed.
  • Retention. At the end you are fitted with a retainer, and followed up for 18 months. This is the part people underestimate, and it is the reason teeth relapse years later.
