A full dual-arch course of lingual braces at Dr Dev Orthodontics starts from £7,995. It is the most expensive treatment on our list, and it is worth being clear about why.
Lingual braces are fitted to the inside surfaces of your teeth, which are not uniform the way the outer surfaces are. The appliance has to be made to your own anatomy, and both fitting and adjusting it are more technically demanding and take longer in the chair. That work is what you are paying for.
The fee includes your appliance, every routine adjustment appointment, your retainers at the end of treatment, and 18 months of follow-up after your braces are removed. Retainers are never charged as an extra – you only pay if one later needs replacing, at £170 each.
If complete invisibility is not essential, there are cheaper discreet options: ceramic braces are £4,595, and Invisalign® is £4,850. Lingual is the only one of the three that genuinely cannot be seen at all. Dr Dev will tell you honestly whether your case needs it.
You can spread any of these over up to 12 months, interest-free, directly with the practice.
